Causes: Using thick mineral oil-based hair products / other hair masks and products that trap in moisture to keep your hair healthy but block the pores and end up causing acne.

- Upper Forehead
Causes: Digestion system – the large intestine and bladder; occurs due to poor diet, high intake of junk food and build-up of toxins.

- Lower Forehead
Causes: Irregular sleeping patterns, Stress, Depression, Bad blood circulation
Cure: Sleep early (preferably before 11), find ways to destress and relax your mind, indulge in a sport you like.
- Region across the Eyebrows
Cause: Liver – consuming a diet high in fat, drinking too much alcohol
Cure: As much as possible avoid fatty food and reduce the alcohol intake.
Cause: Heart – blood pressure & stress
Cure: Exercise regularly, find ways to calm your mind and destress.
Cause: Kidneys – lack of water intake, consuming high levels of salt and caffeine.
Cure: Drink plenty of water; reduce sodium and caffeine in your diet.
Cause: Lungs – respiratory stress, allergies, over – eating, unclean pillow cases, dirty cell phone screens, excessive smoking.
Cure: Avoid smoking and smoking areas, do not use/eat things you are allergic to, clean your phone screen regularly, eat proportionately.
- Around the mouth & centre of the chin
Causes: Stomach and small intestine – Eating a lot of junk food/constipation
Cure: Eat fresh foods with high fiber like vegetables, fruits and whole-grain foods.
- Sides of the chin / Jaw
Causes: Reproductive organs and kidneys – Hormonal imbalance, irregular menstrual cycle, over-working of kidneys, excessive amounts of stress.
Cure: Go see your gynaecologist for medical assistance, eat healthy, meditate and relax your mind.
