Here are 5 uber-chic looks for women that love wearing makeup to work!
- Easy Cut – crease: Pick a deep brown shade for the outer-v and blend it inwards. Use a neutral shade of brown for the crease area. Conceal the inner-v to mid lid area and powder it off. (Packing some subtle shimmer here is optional). Put on false lashes. For the lips, you can use subtle hues like petal pink or browns for a monochromatic look. If you find the look too matte apply some lip gloss.
- Pop colour & Cat eye-liner:
Choose a bright, eye-catching colour and place it on the inner-v of the eyes. You can use hues like yellow, purple, pink, electric blue and orange. [Never use a dark colour to pop the inner-v; it’ll make your eyes look close-set]. Top this up with a bold cat eye-liner. A deep plum or maroon on the lips would look great.
- Only Lashes and Lips:
Curl your lashes, put on a pair of false lashes, and coat them with mascara after they are completely dry. For the lips binge in to bright or bold hues like fuchsia, purple, maroon, plum or red depending on what colour you are wearing.
- Quick Halo:
Start by doing a soft smokey look with any matte colour that goes with the clothes you are wearing. Let’s take for example: you do a purple soft smokey. Bring the same colour to the lower lash line. Then use your fingers to pat some glitter on to the mid lids. Use a blending brush to blend the matte eye shadow with the outer circle of the glitter. Put on a pair of false lashes & mascara. For the lips, you can use a mauve or fuchsia colour.
- Peach Please:
Begin by doing a subtle peach smokey eye look, then use a stiff eye-shadow brush to pack on some shimmer/glitter just to the mid lid (like a Halo Eye). Pick a neutral brown for the lower lash line. Top it up with mascara. On the lips you can apply nude shades close to peach.
